Hate-Mongering - The Damage Report's
As I had to re-embed the "AOC Calls Out..." YouTube video that's the basis of a Damage Report critique I recently posted, entitled, "The Damage Report Does The McConnell, And MSM Lies, Too", this video, below, also popped up in my search results.

With a title like "AOC Calls Out Vulgar McConnell Photo", I just had to look. Despite dating back to 6-Aug-2019, I just had to say something.
I'm even more firm vis-à-vis my stance: The Damage Report. They cause damage; they don't do reporting.
Aside: I apologise. Perhaps the pattern would have been clearer had I captured more titles (right).
For the most part, I agree with the show's host, John Iadarola, in that, simply put: It's safe to assume that those kids aren't random "Mitch" fans, and while they're wearing those T-Shirts, they're acting on behalf of, and representing, Mitch McConnell. Certainly, there should be more vigilance and greater awareness bestowed on all in regard to one's behaviour and the cost and stupidity of posting such things.
Unfortunately, what we're given is a misleading headline and a lame TMZ-wannabe shock-no-value segment that seeks to turn something quite mundane and meaningless into pure shit smearing turned into an opportunity to do some back-roads indirect character assassination.
I'd be fine if they'd used the bit as a brief interlude woven into a connected topic or better yet, used it to introduce a talk on the responsibilities of those who hire and/or deal with temps or volunteers or youth organizations or fans, and what's reasonable to expect... you know, something meaningful, like, if you see some Walmart clerk urinating in some alleyway on his way home, should Walmart be closed down forever? What if a whole bunch of hormone-filled teens are leaving a The Damage Report bowling party with a cutout of Kayleigh McEnany and, well...
You remember what it's like to be a pubescent teen boy, don't you, John, or did you skip that part? And you remember how rowdy and less exhibited we could get when we're in a group ... especially with such a cut out?
I'd blame cable shows, video games, and the Internet before blaming politics and a political party, but whatever sells hate, right, John? Because no one would ever see anything remotely similar from a group of teens coming out of a Clinton, Obama or Biden picnic! Unheard of. All those pictures on Facebook and Instagram that have kids doing questionable things, they all contain, and are all posted by, only teens who go to Republican picnics and attend schools that support Republican picnics, right? Or are they all off-springs of McConnell? That would be news!
I've a feeling these boys would melt in front of her and they're not training for groping and rapist careers, as suggested by your loving and understanding viewers who obviously don't jump to wild conclusions thanks to the... Oh, heck, John! I can't fake it like you. The truth is dying to come out: You're pushing BS and posting hate, not information.
That AOC scored one on McConnell through a Tweet was a low blow, but a well struck one that seized the opportunity well—this aspect is her strength but it may very well lead to her destruction, for the empty-politics game of insults on Social Media has a way of turning against its players. This picnic being a large bi-partisan affair, from what I understand, promoting a direct association between one man's politics and some's teens' actions, who may have never spent more than 30 seconds with him, is the kind of slimy thing Democrats always accuse Republicans of doing, isn't that right, John?
However, it's quite another, to turn this into an anti-Republican piece that promulgates absurd stereotypes that pin absolutely everyone on some right of whatever the MSM has enforced to be the proper collective Left as being soulless back-woods slave-lovin' Nazis who hate democracy but fornicate with Fascism whenever their sister isn't around?
I continue to be blown away by the sickening, puss-filled words that can come out of the ignorance that one lump of voters possess over the other lump of voters, and for the full spectrum in between and vice versa. On this, there's NOT one lump that's worse than the other, though one side does have the MSM acting as an arm of their chosen party, but this merely heightens the despair of the other lump, it doesn't lessen their share of responsibility. The media, however; if one had to lay blame somewhere for the divide that's now grown so wide it's fractured the language and associated concepts previously lumped under one lump. I'm trying to avoid Left and Right... not sure "lumps" works, but lemme know.
What kind of media are you, John?
The polarization that dominates over the US isn't Trump's fault. He helped crystallise it given that he provided a crack in the crony establishment while he applied his reality-TV attitude to ignite it, and the crony-establishment, which includes a big majority-chunk of the media organisations, sure as hell fought back, joined by those who realised there was good advert money to be made with anything featuring Orange Man, Bad and insults, especially now, with COVID and lock-downs. And who cares about facts, it's for a good cause, is that it, John?
Think I'm exaggerating? You're actually promoting constructive information, not hate? Have you read your comments, John?
Sad to say I'm not surprised that this kinda disgusting stuff happens in the #TrumpSwamp. Racism, misogyny, bigotry, pure unbridled hate towards women/women of color. They truly are #deplorables I wonder what their momma would say if they treated her that way...
Hey, John, while you're pretending to be morally outraged for the symbolic and apt humour of one Republican, digging up Satan in a connection that links his Tweet with a shooting as a segue to lumping millions under the rubric of "Serial Killer" for the kind of thing you find witty and "report" on with headlines that say "Calls Out" and "Slams" or "Destroys" or "Humiliates" when its a Democrat or anti-Trump displaying the same humour, you may want to consider the hashtag I highlighted in the above Tweet transcription.
Since then, you may have seen "The Hunt"? All those "deplorables" savagely hunted and grotesquely killed by Left-wing elitists... that film was billed as a comedy, right? And all the memes making light of Hitler or Nazis to insult Trump? Funny, right? Wanna rethink and tone down your fake indignation, there, John, and stop selling hate for clicks?
Here are a few more. There are worse ones, but I got lazy. Yeah, they're a year old, but things haven't gotten better in your comment section, in case you didn't notice, so all that's here is very apropos, I should think.
BTW - I included a list of known left-wing sex-offenders further down. I don't know, man, I'm getting the feeling that maybe political party isn't directly responsible for perversion, cause otherwise it ain't looking good for Democrats, I tells ya. Maybe you and your viewers should rethink that, too, so there can be a real dialogue, you know, like you pretend to want. But what do I know, I'm no YouTube personality and such.
Thanks, John.
