Road Apples

Road Apples

"Road apples" is an idiom that refers to horse dung, the expression given life for what should be a visually self-evident reason; its exact origin is unknown although it appears in print, per the earliest reference I was able to find, in 1948. The term was equally common in Frech-Canadian, referred to as "pommes de route," and seems to originate from the English. These types of overly-ripe apples were once frequently found on roads, back when horses and buggies were still in use.

In this section, you'll find instances of media dropping their horse shit all over the info road; only videos are offered here, these being events/subjects I don't necessarily have the time to cover though I think they are important to be aware of to get a better sense of how the media is manipulating the narrative, which the selected videos cover well without clarifying comments being necessary.
